Both male and female mentors are critical to New Hope Center’s ministry. They are often the first voice on the phone, the first friendly face a client sees, and the person who will walk alongside someone facing a difficult pregnancy decision. Our mentors share information that will equip, empower and educate them to make the best informed decision for the health and future of their baby and themselves.
Our male mentors meet one-on-one with new dads and our female mentors meet one-on-one with new moms. They walk them through parenting classes, decision making, and bible studies. In all situations, our mentors treat every client with love, compassion, and respect.
To become a client mentor, you will need to complete an application and interview. You can apply online by filling out the application below, or print out the application and supporting documents to fill out manually. After your interview, you will have 12 hours of self-paced client mentor training, then you will shadow with an experienced mentor. We ask our volunteers to commit to faithfully serving 2-3 hours per week on a regular basis.
